The acquisition of Susquehanna Motor will allow Bergey’s to expand their brand offering in the West Milton, Milton and New Columbia markets along the busy I-80 corridor. Mack, Isuzu and Prevost are now added to our offering for commercial truck sales, leasing, parts and service, in addition to our existing OEM area of responsibility with Volvo and Autocar.
We will continue to offer our full OEM and aftermarket parts and industrial supplies from our retail parts store also in the Milton area.
I am excited to bring the Susquehanna business into our family of dealerships and offer more solutions for our customers. They have long-standing success in the market, and their culture of integrity and respect align with our own Bergey's values.
The addition of Susquehanna Motor Company allows us to greatly expand our services and our team. We will merge our existing Milton I-80 location with the Old Route 15 location in West Milton providing 15 service bays, including 2 dedicated to Preventive Maintenance. The new combined team consists of 11 diesel truck technicians, 4 service advisors and 5 parts specialists.
We are also adding an additional body shop with this acquisition, allowing us to support collision repairs, alignments and suspension repairs.
We are very excited about this acquisition and the opportunities it brings to our customers. Expanding our service capabilities and our product offerings with the addition of Mack and Isuzu allows us to better serve customers of both organizations.
